Louise V. Daugherty, 74, of Higginsville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at the Research Medical Center.
Louise was born March 29, 1933, in Dover, the daughter of Robert and Mabel (Grass) McQuillen.
She was married to Kenneth Daugherty from 1952-1983. Viola worked at the Higginsville Habilitation Center for 26 and one-half years, as a Developmental Assistant, earning the level of D-2. She is a member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and playing games with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, John Robert Daugherty and his wife, Cynthia, of Lenexa, Kan.; one daughter and son-in-law, Anna Adcox and her husband, Jason, of the home; and four grandchildren, John McMurphy, Jr. and Kenton Daugherty of the home, and Ian and Kenton Daugherty of Lenexa, Kan.
Four infants, one son, one daughter, one set of twins, and her sister, Imajean O’Dell, preceded her in death.

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at the City Cemetery, officiated by Brother Forrest Rutherford.
Arrangements were under the direction of Kaiser-Wiegers Funeral Home in Higginsville.
