Thelma Frances Wilson, 94, passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007 at the Royal Care Center in Excelsior Springs.
Thelma was born on Sept. 14, 1913, the daughter of Joseph C. and Nellie Thompson. She married Lawrence Wilson on Oct. 13, 1934. She was a member of Canaan Hill Church of the Nazarene in Lawson, Mo.
Survivors include: her daughters, Leah Frances Smith and Nella Jo(Junior) Smith of Lawson; one brother, Clyde Thompson, of Clovis, Calif.; three sisters, Josephine (Warren) Crisman, of Lathrop, Martha Nell Crippen, of Butler, and Mary Elizabeth Ashby, of Linn, two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces; and great and great-great nephews and nieces.
Her parents, husband, two brothers, one sister and a son-in-law, preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Excelsior Springs Hospice, 1700 Rainbow Blvd. Excelsior Springs, Mo. 64024.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct.16, 2007, at Polley Funeral Home in Lawson. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Kearney.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Lawson.
