E. Annabel Letzig, 89, of Richmond, passed away at 5:20 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at the Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
Mrs. Letzig was born March 1, 1918 in Russellville, the daughter of Thomas Stephen and Nannie Elizabeth (Wollard) Frazer. She married Welmon Otto Letzig of Richmond on Feb. 19, 1938. Mrs. Letzig was a member of the Richmond United Methodist Church, the Beta Beta Chapter Iota, the W.S.C.S. and B.R.I.C.K. at the Hardin United Methodist Church, and the Ray County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Welmon Frazer Letzig and his wife, Patricia, of Richmond; two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia Frances Miller and her husband, Donald, of Richmond, and Barbara Jean Nolker and her husband, Mike, of Richmond; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her parents and husband, one brother, W. H. Frazer, Sr.; one half-brother, Clarence E. Frazer; one sister, Frances Marie Frazer; one grandson, Jeffrey Don Miller; and one great-grandson, John W. Pennington, preceded her in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond United Methodist Church or the Hardin United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, where a P.E.O. Memorial Service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. prior to the visitation. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, in Richmond. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Hardin.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
