Hazel D. Rinkenbaugh, 86, of Richmond, passed away at 11:51 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.
Mrs. Rinkenbaugh was born on March 22, 1921 in Ray County, to Ernest and Lennie (Wilkinson) Mitchell. She married Roy L. Rinkenbaugh of Richmond, on June 24, 1944.
Mrs. Rinkenbaugh was a homemaker. She was a 1939 graduate of Richmond High School. She was a member of the Henrietta Baptist Church where she was an active member of the Sonshine Seniors as well as being a member of the Richmond Chapter #255 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Rita Kay Hughes and her husband, Bill of Knob Noster.
Her parents, her husband, Roy, and two brothers, Earl and Glenn Mitchell, preceded her in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Henrietta Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Henrietta Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the church. An N.O.E.S. service will be conducted at 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Woodland cemetery in Richmond, MO.
