Billy Ray Woods, 64, of Braymer, passed away at 4:05 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, at North Kansas City Hospital.
Billy was born July 13, 1943 in Braymer, the son of Orville and Helen (Anderson) Woods. He worked as a mechanic for the Massey-Ferguson Dealership in Carrollton and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include: his mother, Helen Woods, of the home; one brother and sister-in-law, Raymond Woods and his wife, Carolyn, of Braymer, one sister-in-law, Karen Woods, of Hamilton; and one niece and nephew, Heather and John Woods of Hamilton.
His father, and one brother, Charles Dale Woods, preceded him in death.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Billy Ray Woods Memorial Fund.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007 at 1:30 p.m., the Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
