Charles V. Cosner, 94, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg.
He was born Feb. 10, 1913 in Sudlow, the son of Henry Ward Beecher Cosner and Anna May Egbert Cosner. He married Juanita Pearl Short in 1948. He was a WWII Veteran of the United States Navy CB’s, and a member of the Lexington VFW Post 4052. He was also a member of Local 101, Heavy Equipment Operators Union.
Survivors include: one brother, Victor Cosner; one sister, Eunice Burnett, of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
His wife Juanita, his parents, two brothers, James and Vernon, two sisters, Hazel Wright and Thelma Schoemig, preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg.
Graveside services were held Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, at Lexington Memory
Gardens Cemetery with Military Honors by Lexington V.F.W. Post 4052.
Arrangements were under the direction of Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
