Mary Edith Littlepage, 86, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2007 at the Shirkey’s Nursing & Rehab in Richmond.
Mary was born on Dec. 4, 1920 in Humboldt, Kan., the daughter of Robert Maxwell and Ethel Eva (King) Lindsey. She and Marion Haden Littlepage were married May 22, 1941 in Humboldt, Kan.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Marion Robert Littlepage and his wife, Pat, of Las Vegas, Nev., Charles Fredrick "Fred" Littlepage and his wife, Cindy, of Excelsior Springs; three daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy Jean Nesheim and her husband, Tom, of Spanaway, Wash., Cynthia Lou "Cyndy’ Hughey and her husband, Randy, of Perry Okla., and Debra Lea "Deb" Fanning and her husband, Jay, of Justin, Texas; one sister Frances Tweedy of Iola, Kan.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Lindsey and his wife, Mary Faye, of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Harold Lindsey and his wife, Jean, of Humboldt, Kan.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, Marion Haden Littlepage, and one brother Robert "Bob" Lindsey, preceded her in death.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Society.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept 21, 2007 at the Waugh, Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel in Iola, Kan. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Sept. 22, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery.
Local Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral in Excelsior Springs.
