William Thomas Webb, 63, of Orrick, passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007 at North Kansas City Hospital.
He was born Oct. 13, 1943 in Orrick. William was the Chief of Police for Orrick for over twenty years. He was a member of the Camden Blue Lodge and had bee a paramedic for Research Medical Center. He loved the Orrick Community.
Survivors include: his wife, Penny Doubenmeir Webb of the home; one son, Billy Webb of Richmond; two daughters and one son-in-law, Cindy and her husband, Tim Thurnau, of Orrick, and Amber Webb of the home; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and her husband, Bob Summers; one brother and sister-in-law, John and his wife, Karen McQuerry; and a sister-in-law, Jean Plummer; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
His parents, brother, Richard Webb, and an infant son, Cecil Thomas Webb, preceded him in death.
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Cremation. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 at 3 p.m., at New Hope Baptist Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gowing Funeral Home.
