Kim Marie (Stark) Unger, 46, of Liberty, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007 in her home.
She was born Nov. 26, 1960, in Excelsior Springs, the daughter of Harold Eugene and Audrey Louwand (Grass) Stark. Kim was reared in Excelsior Springs and graduated from Excelsior Springs High School. She had been employed by Kansas City Peterbilt. Kim had also served in the United States Coast Guard. In past years she attended the United Methodist Church of Raytown. She loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and especially being a mom. She will be forever remembered and loved by her family.
Survivors include: her father, Harold Stark of Gladstone; one daughter, Nichole Unger of Maryville; two sons, Christian Unger of Maryville and Todd Unger of Liberty; her fiancé Bill Law of Liberty; Bill’s son, Matthew Law of Liberty; two grandchildren, Kayla Law and Matthew Law of Gardner, Kan.; one sister, Viki Walher of Excelsior Springs; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Rick Stark and his wife, Billy Sue of Lawson, and Robbie Stark of Lawson; numerous nieces and nephews; and two best friends, Dennis Troutner and Lynn Bishop.
Her mother preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
Memorial services will be private for family and close friends and will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 at her farm.
