Kevin and Elizabeth Hendrix of Richmond are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Megan Alyse Hendrix, to Cory Joe Crook, son of Paul and Jan Crook of Hardin. The wedding was held at the Richmond United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at six o’clock in the evening and was officiated by Rev. Chris Cox of the Hardin Baptist Church.
The bride was escorted by her father and was attended by Mindi Crook, sister-in-law of the groom, Sarah Hendrix, sister-in-law of the bride, and junior bridesmaid, Madison Hendrix, cousin of the bride. The groom was attended by Aaron Crook, brother of the groom, Brian Born, friend of the couple, and junior groomsman, Morgan Hendrix, brother of the bride. Ushers included: Matt Hendrix, brother of the bride, Chance Minnick and Clinton Minnick, friends of the couple, and Sam Hendrix and Clay Hendrix, cousins of the bride. An instrumental version of ‘Moon River’ was played during the bride’s processional. Lori Tucker, accompanied by Jana Hublick, sang At Last during the wedding party processional. They also performed What a Wonderful World and The Lord’s Prayer during the ceremony.
The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas and is now residing at their home in downtown Kansas City. Both Cory and Megan are graduates of the University of Central Missouri. Cory has a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Megan has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration. Cory is employed at the Westin Crown Center Hotel as Purchasing Manager and Megan is employed with the Community School of Art in Kansas City as the School Registrar.
