Jane Shipley, 59, of Richmond, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
Jane was born Oct. 7, 1947 in Hardin, to Myron Eugene and Ruth Fern (Ishmael) Rush. Jane had been a medical technician at Lafayette Care Center in Lexington. She lived in Richmond most of her life. She was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Sgt. David Cringan and his wife, Nancy of Okinawa, Japan; one brother and sister-in-law, Tom Rush and his wife, Sandy of Henrietta; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Edna Fern Clancy and her husband, Donald of Henrietta; and Nancy Rush of Richmond; and five grandchildren.
Her parents; one son, Donaphon Shipley; two brothers, Johnny Rush and Darrell Rush; and one sister, Doris Wood, preceded her in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jane Shipley Memorial Fund.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 31, at the Thurman Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home.
