Mrs. Goldie Stebbins, 74, of Orrick, passed away July 30, 2007 at her home in Orrick.
Goldie was born in Sweet Springs on Jan. 24, 1933 to Henry Otto and Nancy Jane (Sampson) Frieben. She has lived in Orrick since moving there in 1971. Goldie had many interests including playing bingo, and other games and going to the Boats. She loved hummingbirds, fishing, crafts and spending time with her precious family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: her children, Pat Mills and husband, Roger; Randy Ohrenberg and wife, Jo; Tammy Wyse and husband, Mark, of Orrick; Sheila Ohrenberg, Aaron Stebbins, Gana Honn and husband, Pat, of Kansas City, Mo.; Lowell Stebbins and wife, Kaffie, of Turney; Gene Ohrenberg of Kansas City, Mo.; and Rick Ohrenberg of Ariz.; sister, Iola Staub of Surprise, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband, Ivan Stebbins, three brothers, eight sisters, two sons, a daughter, and a great grandson preceded her in death.
The visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Orrick Christian Church. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007 at the Orrick Christian Church. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. at Sweet Springs City Cemetery in Sweet Springs.
Arrangements are under the direction of D. W. Newcomer’s Sons White Chapel Funeral Home in Gladstone.
