Lloyd Edward Eide, 76, Lawson, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 24, 2007.
Lloyd was born on Nov. 22, 1930 in Wheeler, Wis., the son of Ole J. and Hazel Cora (Mandorin) Eide. He was married to Wilma Welch on July 13, 1968 in Bates County. He had worked for OTR Trucks as a Diesel Mechanic. He was a member of the Vibbard Christian Union Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Wilma Eide of the home; one brother, Donald Eide of Peoria, Ill.; seven children, daughter, Toni Collins of Excelsior Springs, Peggy Stanley of Kansas City, Mo., Jim Eide of Pueblo, Colo., Donna Petree of Excelsior Springs, Suzzanne Pope of Lawson, Brian Welch of Chandler, Ariz. and Michele Poynter of Liberty; 25 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, one son Billy Bancroft preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8p.m. on Thursday, July 26 at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2007 at the Vibbard Christian Union Church.
