Daisy B. Landucci, 81 of Lexington died on Monday, July 23, 2007 at the Lexington Care Center after an extended illness.
Daisy Bell Vorwark was born on Sept. 5, 1925 in Mayview, to Andrew and Willie-Ann Douglas Vorwark. She married Virgil Landucci on Oct. 31, 1950 in Dover. Daisy had worked for 27 years as a metallurgist in the lab at Lake City Munitions plant. Daisy was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lexington and the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W.
Survivors include: her husband, Virgil Landucci, of the home; son Mitch Landucci; a brother, Richard Vorwark, Higginsville; and sister, Dora Williams, Richmond.
Daisy was preceded in death by: her parents; three sisters, Margaret Amer, Iola Rope, and Opal Hacker; and three brothers, Ernest, Robert and William.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington.
Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, July 25, at 10:30 a.m. at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lexington.
