Fern Summers

Fern Summers, 90, passed away on June 17, 2007.

Fern was born on Aug. 28, 1916, in Callao, the daughter of Clell and Estella (Badgerow) See.

She is survived by: two daughters and one son-in-law, Carolyn Hogan and Sherry and Greg Baer; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; two sisters; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, John M. Summers; one sister; and one son-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army or Wayside Waifs.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 21 at White Chapel Funeral Home in Gladstone followed by funeral services.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, at Hardin Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of D.W. Newcomer’s Sons White Chapel.
