Dorothy Louise Trout, 77, of Richmond, died Friday, May 11, 2007, at the Ray County
Memorial Hospital, Richmond.
Mrs. Trout was born Feb. 25, 1930 in Hodge, to Ezekiel and Jane Mary (Smith) Belt. She married William Silvester Trout, Jr. of Richmond on Oct.12, 1946; he preceded her in death Feb. 16, 2001.
Mrs. Trout was a member of the Richmond First Baptist Church. She lived in Richmond most of her life.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Elizabeth Trout of Lexington, and William and Mary Trout of Richmond; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Jim Harris of Richmond and LaDonna and Donald Fifer of Hamilton; one sister and brother-in-law, Delorise and Eldwin Bush of Rayville; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Middleton; and one grandson, Dale Allen Fifer.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 14, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 15, at 1:30 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond.
Burial will be at Richmond Memory Gardens.
Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
