Wayne Goodloe, 71, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007 at his home.
Wayne was born Dec. 20, 1935 in Lexington, the son of Mitchell C. and Eris Elmore Goodloe. He married Sally Myers on Nov. 20, 1956 in Lexington.
Wayne was the maintenance supervisor for the Lexington R-V School District for several years before retirement and also was an appliance repairman. He was a member of the Lexington First Baptist Church and a member of the Missouri National Guard.
Surviving are: his wife of 50 years, Sally Myers Goodloe, of the home; his mother, Eris Goodloe, Lexington; three children, Marsha Brock and husband, Kenny, Lexington; Mary Jo Williams and husband, Larry, Wellington; and Michael Goodloe and wife, Karen, Higginsville; one brother and sister-in-law, Ross Goodloe and wife, Nancy, Lexington; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Belle Maxwell and husband, Donald, Lexington; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell Goodloe.
Memorials may be made to the Wayne M. Goodloe Scholarship Fund.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
Funeral services will be 10:a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
