Frances Myrtle Crawford, 87, Missouri City, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007 in Excelsior Springs.
Frances was born Aug. 31, 1919, in Dairmonte, Ark., the daughter of John and Sarah (Blissit) Chadwick. In 1954, Frances married Chester L. Crawford, starting her life as a loving homemaker. She was a member of the Missouri City Baptist Church. Frances was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
Frances is survived by: husband, Chester L. Crawford, of the home; daughter, Sarah Reynolds of Rayville; son, Chester Leroy Crawford of Douglas, Kan.; brothers, Charles Leroy Chadwick of Lawson and Grover C. Preston, Jr. of Little Rock, Ark.; sisters, Mattie Pearl Wilkins, Ark., and Vivian Irene Wilkins of Excelsior Springs; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Pamela Jean Turner; daughter, Sarah Magdalene Sidwell; great-grandson, Ray Reynolds; sisters, Rosie Imogene Wilkerson and Lillie Mae Ball; and three nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2007, at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the Missouri City Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Grain Valley.
Services are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
