William Brandon Craven, 50, Mosby, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2007, at the Kansas City VA Hospital.
William was born on April 28, 1956 in Excelsior Springs, the son of Elmer Eugene and Mary Lois (Parker) Craven. He was married to Kathrena Cox on April 5, 2007 in Kansas City, Mo.
William served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1974 to 1978. He was a Laborer Technician for the Sterilizer Co. He was a Christian.
Survivors include: his wife, Kathrena “Kathy” Craven of Mosby; his mother, Mary Lois Kennell of Alamo, Texas; one son, Brandon William Craven of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; three daughters, Jamie Lynn Craven of Vacaville, Calif., Andrea Larson and Charlene Williams both of Silverton, Ore.; one brother, Jewell Craven of Polo; two sisters, Sheila Miller of Excelsior Springs, and Sharla Craven Panama City Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Eugene Craven.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at the New Garden Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
