Anna Elizabeth Miller, 91, of Richmond, died at 2:57 a.m., Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Richmond.
Elizabeth was born Dec. 28, 1915 in Carrollton, Mo to Tom and Ella (Dolan) Grant. She married Leo August Miller of Wakenda, on Feb. 15, 1939; he preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1991.
Elizabeth lived most of her life in Carrollton. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carrollton and its Altar Society. She was also a member of the Winfrey Extension Club.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Leo and Lola May Miller of Bosworth; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Virginia and Lyle Noblitt of Carrollton; sister, Ruth Peppers of Corder; eight grandchildren, Jayla Allen, Ted Miller, Pat Miller, Chris Brown, Tim Brown, Terry Brown, Angela Peterson and Amy Gibson; two step-grandchildren, Steve Noblitt and Shari Fasteneau; eleven great-grandchildren, Ely Allen, Amelia Brown, Anna Brown, Gabby Brown, Noah Brown, Ben Peterson, Sydney Peterson, Jack Peterson, Trevor Gibson, Gracie Gibson and Lexie Parker; and three step-great-grandchildren, Drew Noblitt, Rachel Fastenau and Emily Fastenau.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Grant, Tom Grant and Leo Grant; and one sister, Pearl Link.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Carrollton Senior Center or H.E.L.P. Services.
Visitation will be Monday, April 30, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Carrollton.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Carrollton.
Burial will be at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Carrollton.
Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne is in charge of the arrangements.
