Lillian M. Peek, 87, of Lawson, died at 5:35 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2007 at Lawson Manor.
Mrs. Peek was born March 23, 1920 in Lexington, to William and Bertha (Martin) Danner. She first married George Amos Brown of Lexington. She later married Earl Donald Peek of Lexington in 1951; he preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1986.
Mrs. Peek was a Baptist. She had lived in Caldwell and Ray Counties most of her life.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Ann Brown of Richmond; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary and Joseph Zvolanek of Millington, Tenn., Lola and Charles Chadwick of Lawson and Martha Vinson of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, John Danner of Calif; 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: one brother, Elton Danner; three sisters, Lola May Lay, Frances Marshall and Martha Luehrs; two grandchildren, Terry Chadwick and Charisse Ann Christopher; and one great-granddaughter, Lacie Jo Christopher.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 26, at 10 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond.
Burial will be at Richmond Memory Gardens.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
