James “Ralph” Trusty, Richmond, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Shirkey Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Ralph was born on Aug. 30, 1925 in Carrollton, the son of Melbourne “Jasper” and Fanny (Lloyd) Trusty. He was married on April 2, 1951 to Beulah “Jean” DeTienne.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Survivors include: three daughters, Sarah K. Meservey and her husband, Ralph of Chula, Linda Imogene DeVaul of Sugar Creek, and Brenda Sue Trusty of Chillicothe; three sisters; one brother; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Jean; two sons, Charles Eugene Chadwick and James Ralph Jr.; and one daughter, Verna Martin.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2007, at the Polley Funeral Home in Richmond.
Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2007, at the Polley Funeral Home in Richmond.
Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens in Richmond.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Richmond.
