RHS boys, girls take fourth at Holden
Richmond’s varsity boys and girls track teams finished in the middle of the pack in Missouri River Valley Conference-East Division competition Monday at Holden.
Both teams placed fourth among six schools. The boys tallied 99 points and the girls finished with 77.
Junior Jacob Johnson led the Richmond boys, winning the long and triple jumps. The Spartans won three boys events overall, the other one being the 400-meter relay.
The Richmond girls won four individual events. Junior Kaylee King won three – the 100 high hurdles, the long jump and the triple jump. Senior Kaylee Pugh nabbed the other, taking the 200 in 27.27 seconds.
